On 16th February I attended an outreach audition for ALRA (Academy ¬†of Live and Recorded Arts) performing monologues from ‘Laughing Wild’, Christopher Durang and Shakespeare’s ‘Measure for Measure’. And I got a place!!!

I’ve been offered a place on their MA Acting course!

Unfortunately, I don’t have the funds to pay for this, even with a scholarship, so with regret I’m going to have to defer for a year. I will be back again to audition for the 2014 year though, along with some other schools I’ve got in mind, but it’s so reassuring to know that I earned a place in my practice year! Bring on the world of work!
