She has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival twice. In 2010 she played the part of Henny in ‘The Ark’ (**** Broadway Baby, *** The Scotsman). In 2012 she played Nelly Dean in ‘Wuthering Heights’ ( **** Fringe Review, *** Fringe Guru).
The New Current has called her ‘an unrelenting comedic joy’ for her performance as Mrs Winterbottom in Victorian and Gay, with The Gay UK stating that ‘Mrs Winterbottom’s (Lottie Davies) boobage, drunken friskiness and Welsh inflections make her the shiniest bauble, sparkliest star and filthiest fairy on this Xmas evergreen’.
‘…stole the limelight with copious amounts of wit and charisma’ – Gair Rhydd 2011 (Maria, Twelfth Night).
‘She captured the innocent piety and silent strength of the character’ – Gair Rhydd 2012 (Isabella, Measure for Measure).
‘…my favourite performance of the night was delivered by the impeccably cast Lottie Davies in the potentially thankless role of Nelly Dean…’ -Edfringe Review 2012 (Nelly Dean, Wuthering Heights).
‘Lottie Davies as Nelly Dean rose out of … the show as a Phoenix capturing the audience with her exquisite acting and reserved pathos. As a narrator she excelled, delivering her lines with enough authorial detachment whilst also allowing a way in for the audience to feel what emotions they could… She flitted between these 2 personas with great ease and dexterity…’ – Broadway Baby 2012 (Nelly Dean, Wuthering Heights).
